promises . . . promises . . .
my dining room serves as an improvised green house at this time of year and these tomaoto plants are already making promises.

Hi, Libby...I saw your name in Mary's blog and thought I'd "check you out" if you don't mind. I am a relative new blogger and am looking for some kindred spirits. We have a lot in common...books, fiber arts, movies, etc. And I was curious about your scrap trade.
ReplyDeletehi Jay~!~
ReplyDeleteso glad that you came by for a visit. always glad to mingle with a "kindred spirit"~!!~
i attempted to link back to your blogs but with no luck . . . i probably did something wrong and will try again.
the scrap (coin quilt strips) trade is still being "hashed" out so please feel free to look into my April 13th post and it's comments to get some idea of where we are at with it and leave any ideas that you may have that might be helpful. i would be more than happy for you to join in~!!~

Hi, Libby...I just tried to answer a blog from a comment on my site and couldn't either. My blog address in ccsq.blogspot.com. Try that and see if it works.
ReplyDeleteYeah!!! Jay is in for the scrap trade ; ) We need to keep this going forward. I was thinking that some from our Yahoo group might want to join too. We belong to a Bernina 440 Yahoo group. We have done postcard trades and they don't get that large 6 per group and there were 2 groups. They have some very talented people. Just a thought.... Have a good weekend!
ReplyDeletehi Jay~!~
ReplyDeletethank you and i'll give that a try~!~

hi Mary~!~
it looks as though our trade is growing~!~the more the merrier.
i may have misunderstood some of the dimensions that you mentioned in your comment the other day . . . i need to go back and take a look . . . did you mean that each coin piece would measure 2.5" X 5"? i think i was confused because my individual coin pieces are random in length but consistant in width . . . so i end up with a more free-pieced looking finished coin strip. look carefully at my photos to see what i mean. anyway, i hope i haven't confused things too terribly and we can get back to deciding just what our trade "rules" will be. if we do end up with several participants i may indeed need your advice and/or your help as i've not done this sort of blog trade before .. .
:)
