Texture Tuesday/7-26-11

good morning. the texture tuesday challenge this week is 'Dream'.

Free To Fly

i've used a recent shot, a layer of 'not too shabby' and a quote that i like.
the layer is a freebie from the very generous and talented kim klassen.

today's gifts have included:
  • a few extra minutes of sleep
  • the beloved ritual of watering/tending the houseplants
  • frozen grapes on a hot summer morning ~ yummy ~!!~

  4. HI Libby Q!
I like the texture and the bug!
Isn't watering plants the very best task? I really love to let the hose run and run, coming back to it to fill my watering cans. My husband likes to turn off the hose between fills. We compromise! I'm glad you got a bit of extra shut-eye!

  8. A wonderful image and great quote. I really love to see wild life on plants (although maybe gardeners don't feel the same way....)

  13. Hi Libby - I just read your comment (the one you worried might be 'too long') over on Jude's blog. A number of people have responded to it by now and I was not sure which reply button to hit to make sure you saw my remark so I jumped over here to leave it. You managed to articulate a lot of things that are true for me experientially and it was *so helpful* to view these thoughts through the lens of somebody else's expressive prowess.

i love knowing what your thoughts are and knowing that you've paid a visit if you have the time to drop a line or two.

i attempt to answer all comments and/or questions. if this is important to you make sure you are not set on no reply which leaves me no way to get back to you.
