A Humble Bumble (Digital) Collage
an image created in Photoshop from several of my own photos, artwork and textures.
wishing all a golden early summer day.
i've decided to respond to the invitation within my comments and link this with: NatureFootstep Digital Art meme Interest Survey.
if you are thinking that you might like to join in with your own digital art post(s) then hop over and add to the survey. we'll see what happens . . .

Love your collage! I have decided to set myself up a separate studio for "messy" work...I have a spare room/bedroom upstairs which only gets used three-four times a year...there is a bathroom up there also and I decided to use the area for dyeing, glueing, stamping, painting, etc...and use my down stairs studio for sewing and NON messy stuff! So hopefully I will be doing some collages and printing more often! And I hope to blog more about my journey of creativity!
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job with the texturing, I would never have guessed it started out digital.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Beautiful! YOU are a soft and true artist, Libby Q!
ReplyDeleteI sent one of your cards out as a thank you to a friend recently. I thought, "She's lucky because she gets this lovely Libby Q card!"
Nice colors!
ReplyDeleteLuscious! I love purple, the script and of course the industrious bee - lovely!
ReplyDeleteVery, very nice! I can just feel the textures. Yes, time passes by too quickly...and I know we spoke of our own book swap. The time will come for that, I have no doubt. And I look forward to it. I am on a mission to complete this 10 book swap with my art group. It's daunting at times, because while some of the members can crank out pages rather quickly and easily, I seem to get stumped and end up with 3 books at a time. But, I am determined! And, I still have to show up for the day job. It's all good! Nice to catch up with you abit. I've been absent from blogland, and I miss it terribly! Aloha to you!
ReplyDeletebeautiful work. :)
ReplyDeleteHi, found you at Bonnies. As Bonnie with PAF is taking a break and Lori with MOM seem to have vanished from earths surface we are getting short of PhotoArt memes. I already have NF Abstract but are considering starting a new “NF DigitalArt Meme”. If you are interested let me know what you think.

Just finished "catching up" with you! You are always an inspiration!
ReplyDeletethanks!
ReplyDeleteI really like what you've done here. I'm also trying to figure out how you did it. I'll be playing with my photoshop to see if I can figure it out. :)
ReplyDeletePeabea, visiting from the digital meme survey. :)
thank you.
Deleteas to how i did it . . . i'm teaching myself how to use my photoshop elements program and it's always been a matter of trial and error. as time goes on less error but i don't really keep track of what i've tried or the opacities, etc.
i just have fun and stop when i'm either tired of playing or have an image that i feel like i can live with.
sorry that i can't be of more help than that.
:-)

I like this Humble Bumble collage. It´s nice.
ReplyDeleteNice combination of elements and textures to make this truly original digital collage. Fun! Thanks for having stopped my blog at Ragzedge. I, too, am looking forward to the possibility of a new digital art forum at NF.
ReplyDeletebeautiful collage! lovely composition.
ReplyDeletethank you for visiting my blog.
