the winner of my "winter comforts" give-away is:

congratulations Lesley Ninnes of: http://www.sea-blue-sky-abstracts.blogspot.com/ ~!~

i will need you to send an e-mail to libbyquilter@yahoo.com with your address information and then i will be happily mailing you some comforting goodies~!~

thank you to everyone who entered. i do wish you all a winter FULL of the kindest comforts.

and now for another sunday postcard art card. the theme was Edgar Allan Poe and i once again managed to use some of my own photos to create a digital collage. i am having quite a bit of fun with the program now although it is still a whole lot of trial and error.

  1. What a unique and fascinating art piece...the colors are outstanding!

  2. My favourite winter comfort soup (bit late with this I know!) is parsnips, carrots and onions, paprika and mixed herbs in a veg stock. simmer till soft. puree them and then add cream cheese to make it creamy-mmmmmmm yummy!

  3. lyn, i'm going to have to try that~!!~ sounds delicious~!!~

i have a butternut squash soup recipe that i love to make and eat . . . will have to try to remember to share that one on my blog soon . . .

  4. Fabulous card, Libby, love those autumnal colours, too! You're doing so well with your digital art!

  5. Libby, thanks, what a lovely surprise! Will be in touch. Really like your latest postcard - it's very dramatic! Best wishes. Lesley x

  6. Terrific postcard! Beautifully created.

  7. Wow! This is so creative, so unique. It reminds me of when small children use a flashlight held against their hands to show a red light. The black raven glows red and is a lot more menacing than in his black form. Great work.

  8. How fantastic that dear Lesley won your giveaway. I'm so pleased!

    Carolyn ♥
